Samsung Galaxy S9 design and benchmark leaks give closest look

Galaxy S9 will come in three variants, including a mini version but with same design and dual cameras

Samsung is preparing its next generation of flagships for launch in 2018, and looks like we already have some photos and numbers to match it up with the rivals.
As reported earlier, Samsung is readying three different models of the Galaxy S9 this time-the Galaxy S9, the Galaxy S9+ and the Galaxy S9 Mini. Latest leaks spotted by Forbes reveal that the mini variant will have a 5-inch display, while the other two will be similar to their 2017 counterparts.
All three models will come with Samsung dual-edge-curved 'Infinity' display, unlike previous mini models styled differently than flagship variants. This could make Samsung's foothold stronger in the mid-range segment.
The leak also claims the Galaxy S9 will come with dual cameras with a BABR coating ('broad-band anti-reflection') on the lenses. DSLR lenses use BABR coating to limit ghosting and reflection. The company might also reposition the fingerprint scanner on the device.
A report from AndroidHeadlines also reveals that the phone will use heat pipes for dissipating heat, a setup that has been used on Galaxy S-series and Note series since the 2016.

Model and display:-

The phone model SM-G960F, believed to be the global version of the upcoming Galaxy S9, has been spotted on a Geekbench listing as well. The phone scores 2680 points in the single core test which far exceeds that of the Pixel 2 (1685 points). But the iPhone X (4218 points) still remains that king, and so do the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus as they are powered by the same A11 Bionic chip from Apple.

RAM and Chip:-

The Geekbench listing also reveals that the phone will be powered by Samsung next generation chipset, the Exynos 9 series 9810 with 4GB RAM. Samsung recently announced Exynos 9810 chipset that is built on 2nd generation 10nm process. It also packs 3rd-generation custom CPU cores and an upgraded GPU, possibly Mali G72. It also supports Gigabit speeds on LTE

Release Date Expacted:-

Samsung may announce the Galaxy S9 and S9+ at the upcoming MWC like last year -- which is to start on February 26 and continue until March 1 2018 in Barcelona. Samsung is reportedly planning to schedule the Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch event for February 25.
