Xiaomi has been a different company in 2017. The Chinese brand, which hugely relies on the home market to contribute most of its smartphone shipments has made a U-turn and focusing on a more global approach. Smartphones launches such as the Mi Mix 2, Mi Max 2, and Redmi Note 5A are the clear examples of this approach as they took just one month to land in the Indian market (and in other markets too) since their official unveiling in China.

Lanch Date Expacted:-

In the past, Xiaomi announced a new Redmi Note smartphone between August and September every year. However, we’re now coming close to an end of November 2017, but there’s no update or teasers from the company on a possible launch. Chances are the company may launch the Redmi Note 5and Redmi 5 at the same time in both India and China.

Chipset used:-

Even though the launch of the smartphones is delayed, that doesn’t mean that we’re short of rumours. Xiaomi is prepped to launch three smartphones- the Redmi Note 5, the Redmi 5, and the Redmi 5 Plus. The Redmi 5 will be a successor to the Redmi 4 and likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 450 SoC. The Redmi 5 Plus is expected to come with a Snapdragon 625 SoC, whereas the Redmi Note 5, the direct successor to the Redmi Note 4 will have a Snapdragon 630 SoC inside 

Display Size:-

All the three smartphones mentioned above are said to feature an 18:9 display with slim on top and the bottom. The Redmi Note 5 may feature a 5.9-inch 18:9 display, and the other two likely to have a 5.5-inch 18:9 screens.
